She is survived by her husband Jeremy Kisner, and their two children Zayd and Zayna Kisner.
Lama was born on August 31, 1974 in the Kingdom of Bahrain to Salman and Aisha Alkhalifa. Lama and her husband Jeremy were married on October 2, 2012. They welcomed their twins Zayd and Zayna into the world in 2016.
Lama received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Interior Design from Mount Vernon College in Washington D.C. and her Master’s degree in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.
Lama was an exceptionally talented artist who loved to paint with oil paints since she was a kid. She was crafty and creative, with a vision that she could bring to life. Lama loved her twins Zayd and Zayna dearly and loved sharing her passion for painting with them. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed growing plants, loved traveling and experiencing new foods and cultures, and having cookouts and spending time with friends and family. Lama was one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and she went out of her way to try and make others feel comfortable. Lama had a big beautiful smile and her eyes would sparkle. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to say thank you to our friends and family for all of their love and support, and to everyone that went out of their way to make meals for us.
