In her 30 years of life she committed to helping others as a clinical psychologist where consistently shared messages of self-care and awareness of mental health. Her education was a source of pride as she completed Antioch University’s PsyD program, Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Masters in both Forensic and Clinical Psychology, Michigan Technological University bachelors in Psychology, and her diploma from Hill Murray High School. As a two time cancer survivor, Larissa found joy in animation, colorful stickers, and her cats, Kiki and Asher.
Larissa is survived by her parents, Deb and Lauris Grundmanis, sister Kristina Grundmanis (Brandon Van Avermaete), her partner Joseph Keegan, and her cats, Kiki and Asher.
We know her impact was widespread. We are thankful for her life and miss her very much. We will hold a Celebration of Life on May 10th 2025 from 1pm-5pm at the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church (3152 17th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407).
