

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Emmanuel Combs and Mary Pauline Farley.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick Alan Bowers (Tammy) and Travis Dustin Bowers (Amy); her grandchildren Joshua, Drew, Jade, and Blake; her sisters Helen Richards and Janice Van Heel; nieces and nephews Kathy Grosskopf (Mark), Kelly Windsor (Phil), Michael Andreason, David Andreason (Mara).
Linda was born and raised in Giles County, VA. She lived in Richmond, VA for the majority of her adult life. She held various jobs throughout her life, but "Mom" was the most important one she had. She loved being a mom and she was the best. The only thing that brought her more joy was her grandkids.
Linda cherished her time spent at Myrtle Beach, where she found joy and relaxation. She was deeply devoted to visiting her friends and taking care of her home. Above all, her greatest love was for her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238. A Memorial Service will be held at Bon Air Baptist Church on Monday, December 15th at 11:00am.
The family would like to thank Susan Hampton, Nancy Campbell, Anne Oleary, Linda Redman, the "Guest House", and her friends who supported her.
