HINCHMAN, Linda Cosby, 66, of Midlothian, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elsie Cosby. She is survived by her love, Joe Kalkowsky; her brother, T. Douglas Cosby; her children, Ashley M. Hinchman (John), Kelley H. O’Neil (Michael) and Daniel E. Hinchman III (Sandy); and her grandchildren, Ward, Will, Reid, Grace, Charlotte and Tristan. She was a graduate of Huguenot High School and Madison College.
Passionate about tennis, Linda played and worked at Briarwood/ACAC Midlothian Tennis for more than 30 years. She was heavily involved as both a member and coordinator in local USTA leagues, making it to multiple National Championships. She loved the water and spent much of the last few years enjoying life at the river. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be remembered for her generous spirit, caring heart and energy for life.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA. The memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 22, and will also be held at Woody Funeral Home.
