Marie Shepard Lynch

Raised in Farmville, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Lynch; and her parents Katherine Cook Shepard and Frank Davis Shepard.

Carrying forward her spirit and legacy of love are her children, Douglas (Karen), Page (Carroll); grandchildren; Katherine (Walter), Roxanne (Haleigh), Cassidy (Corey), Davis (Jordan); and her precious great-grandchildren; Henry Douglas, Lucy Katherine, Lincoln Maverick, Jasper Allen and Jensen Earl. All were blessed by her presence in their lives. Marie is also survived by her brother, Frank Douglas Shepard.

Marie was employed for 30 years in the business world; first with Virginia Medicaid Program and then as a founding partner of a production facility.

Marie enjoyed many happy years at the family vacation home in Virginia Beach where great times on 47th Street were had by all.

Marie lived her life with grace and elegance and a deep devotion to her family and friends and left them with an abundance of cherished memories.

Our family would like to thank our wonderful support ladies for always being there for Mom and us: Haleigh, Mimi, Isabel, Maria and Kookie.

A Visitation will be held at Woody Funeral Home at Huguenot, Thursday, October 9th at 4:00 pm.
