

Marshall Webb Glascock went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2016. He was 85 years old. He was born on June 6,1930 in Botetourt county. He was one of 7 children a son of Andrew and Virginia Glascock. He was preceded in death by his sister Lucille Harris and brothers Andrew Jr. Glascock, Edward "Buck" Glascock, Jack Glascock and best friends George Sovereign and Bruce. He is survived by his wife Elberta Louise Glascock, sister Marion Knowles, brother Garland Glascock, daughter Carolyn Dalton, granddaughter Cassie Coleman and great-granddaughter Kenzie Coleman.
He was married for over 58 years to Elberta Louise Glascock. They were married on March 1st 1958. He worked for Reynolds metal company for 42 years as a machine operator retiring in 1992. He was a devoted and active member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church and served as an usher every Sunday for well over 50 years.
Marshall was a strong yet gentle minded man that led a faithful and devoted life. He never deviated from what he believed in and always followed his heart. He was well loved by all who knew him. They broke the mold when they made him. He touched so many lives with his gentle soul throughout his time here on earth. He will never be forgotten and to all who knew him... we are truly blessed to have known him..
