Mary Christine Pollard

Mary Christine Pollard, 52, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away peacefully at a local hospital on May 9, 2019. She is survived by her two children, Tony and Chelsea Pollard. “Chris” was the daughter of Art and Joann Bruno. Other survivors are her brother James Bruno, his wife Lesley, niece Georgia and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was a graduate of St. Gertrude High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from MCV-VCU. Chris was a Registered Nurse for 30 yrs. The family would like to thank the St. Francis Hospital staff and specialists in ICU for their care and compassion during Chris’ illness. We, also, want to extend our gratitude to all family and friends who expressed their concern in so many ways. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 2700 Dolfield Drive, N. Chesterfield, VA 23235 at 11:00 a.m. on May 23, 2019. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
