BAHEN, Sue Sneed, 85, of Bon Air, went with the Lord on November 15, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius Leo Bahen, a decorated World War II veteran. She is survived by her five children, Daniel Bahen, Susan Bahen McRaney, Andrew Bahen, Judith Bahen Gaughran, and Julia Bahen McLellan; 14 grandchildren, Jessie, Hunter, Christopher, Peyton, Brendan, Drew, Thomas, Nathan, Chelsea, Jeremy, Julianne, Kyle, Jordan, Kelsie; and a great-grandchild, Brandon Michael. She is also survived by brother, Earnest Sneed; and sisters, Mary Sneed Rountrey, Anne Sneed Lewis and Margaret Sneed Brownson, as well as dozens of loving nieces and nephews. She lived the majority of her life on her family's land, "Strawberry Hill", located in the heart of Bon Air adjacent to the once renowned "Sneed's Store" on Huguenot Road, which was owned and operated by her father Earnest Sneed with the help of her beloved mother, Sue Sneed. The laughter of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild is what brightened her face like sunshine and has blessed all involved with indelible and sweet memories. Her legacy is her loving family, her faith in God and her hope for everyone's future and she will remain a beacon for all who knew and loved her.
