Tucker Allen Armstrong
ARMSTRONG, Tucker Allen "Tuck," of Midlothian, became an angel in Heaven Friday, April 23, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 11, 2007. Tucker was an amazing little boy who could light up a room with his smile. His personality and laughter were contagious and he touched the lives and hearts of everyone he met. Tucker taught us the meaning of living each day to the fullest. He loved playing outside and always wanted to be surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his Daddy and Mommy, Scott Allen and Leslie Diggs Armstrong; his sister, McKenzie "Kenzie" Paige Armstrong; his Granddad and Nana, Harry and Ande Armstrong; his Pop and Meme, Joe and Beverly Diggs of Mathews, Va.; and many loving extended family members and many wonderful friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A celebration of Tucker's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church, 1100 Mount Pisgah Drive. Our family would like to thank the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Team at VCU Medical Center for all of their love, support, and care they provided Tucker and our entire family over the past year.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to "ASK," Association for the Support of Children with Cancer, P.O. Box 17184, Richmond, Va. 23226, in memory of Tucker. Online condolences to woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com.
