Vera K. Davis, 87, of Richmond passed away quietly at home Wednesday morning, September 28, 2011, with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, W. C. Davis; two children, Christine D. Temple (John) of Midlothian, and Andrew C. Davis (Allyson) of Richmond; four grandchildren, Kimrey Scanniello (Chris), Karri Broussard (Justin), William and Laura Davis; four great-grandchildren, Paul and Lisa Broussard, Kristen and John Scanniello; two brothers, Roger Kimrey (Bobbie) of Florida, and Ernest Kimrey of SC; and a sister, Barbara Graham of SC. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her brothers, Brack Kimrey, Jr. and Douglas Kimrey.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday (today) at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia, VA.
