

Vicki Lee Coxon, 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St Francis Hospital in Midlothian, Virginia surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 21st, 1948, to Lois Atkins Perry and Linwood Perry in Fredericksburg, Virginia, she graduated from Spotsylvania High School.
Vicki met her husband, John F Coxon, Jr, in 1967 at Campbell’s and married in 1968. They built a life in Midlothian until his death in 2011. Vicki was a homemaker in her younger years and worked at the JC Penney Customer Center on Alverser Drive for almost two decades. A lifelong country music fan, she loved George Strait and cherished family gatherings, especially at her favorite Cracker Barrel.
She leaves behind her daughter Laura Sullins (Nolan) of Bristol, VA, her son, John Coxon, III of Midlothian, VA, a devoted sister Donna Huff (Fernando) of Richmond, VA, brother Michael Perry (Liz) of Ameila, VA, nieces, nephews and her beloved cat, Milo.
Vicki was known for her unwavering kindness and welcoming spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St Francis Hospital, Laurels of Willow Creek and all who helped for the care and comfort they provided.
Visitation will be held at Woody Funeral Home, located at 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA, Monday, January 19, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vicki will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
