Wanda Yvonne Kierson

Wanda Y. Kierson, 70, of Chesterfield, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 15, 2019. A strong, independent woman, devoted to and loved by her family. A longtime member of the UDC who enjoyed researching and understanding genealogy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sandra. Wanda is survived by her loving daughter, Stacy Carr (Clay); granddaughter, Kailyn; her siblings, Diane Wert (Neil), John Pennington, Arthur Pennington, their respective families; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday July 19, 2019 from 5-8 PM at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel, where a Celebration of Life will be held the following day at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wanda's name may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
