William Edmond Brunson

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruth Brunson; and his wife, Judy, who passed away only in 2013. He is survived by his daughters, Jenifer and Lori; grandchildren, Emily and Ian; son-in-law, Lester; grandson-in-law, Ethan; brothers, Tom, Larry, Robert and Steve; sister, Sandra; as well as many nieces and nephews.

William was a successful, self-made businessman, who enjoyed over 40 years of helping his clients. He loved being on the water no matter what season, whether boating or jet skiing. Music was a huge passion for him, as he loved writing songs, playing a multitude of instruments perfectly without training and helping other young musicians further their interest and careers in their arts. He was a proud attender of Stony Point Church and enjoyed participating in as much as possible to support the congregation.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Thursday, May 27 at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 2pm, with interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the members of Stony Point Church for rallying together to help the family organize services at this unexpected time.
