William Thomas Ritter

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Morris Ritter and Beatrice Nehrbas Ritter; and his brother, Charles Morris Ritter.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Page Ritter; his children, Kim Kavanagh (Paul) of Charlottesville, VA; and Will Ritter of Midlothian, VA; grandchildren, Reid and Luke Kavanagh; his sister, Ginger Patillo; and a host of family and friends who will all miss him dearly.

He was born in Stamford, CT in 1944 and went to Sterling School and later the University of Georgia, graduating in 1969, and remained a huge Georgia Bulldog fan.

He was an avid golfer and was an active member of Stonehenge Country Club and Golden Bear Country Club in Hilton Head. He loved spending time at his homes in Duck, NC and his dream home in Prince Edward Island. He loved traveling around the world, taking numerous cruises throughout Europe. But most of all, he loved his family, friends and a good martini.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, June 30 at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel.
