Carol Sue Carpenter

On Sunday morning the 24th of Jan. at 7:30 a.m. Carol Sue (Conway) Carpenter, daughter, bride, wife, mother, grammi, and great-grammi told her husband that she wanted to go Home. Carol was born on Dec. 4, 1942 in Dallas, TX to Elmer Conway and LaVerne (Giles) Conway. Her father-in-law and mother-in-law were among a host of family that met her as she entered Heaven. Doug met Carol in 1948 in the first grade at Eastside School. She leaves behind her husband Douglas; son, Michael and his wife Janice; daughter, Melissa and her husband John; and daughter, Kathi. Carol was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren all of whom were the light of her life. She also leaves a brother, Darrell and sister, Sandra and her husband Michael; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Paylor Family Funeral Care Chapel, 412 N. Air Depot Blvd., Midwest City, Oklahoma with burial following at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK.
