

Charles Lewis Wren, 55 year-old resident of Shawnee, OK, passed away April 2, 2016 at his home. Born August 10, 1961 in Ft. Sumter, South Carolina, he was the son of Dewey Ace Wren and Sara Beth Powell Wren. Charles was an industrial painter and was a hard worker who rarely missed work for any reason. He loved fishing, hunting, the pond in his backyard, taking family trips, showing his kids “How to” fix things, BBQing, and most of all was an awesome grandpa. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Elizabeth Ann Wren, and granddaughter, Isabel Grace Wren. Survivors include his wife Lorraine (Cantrell) Wren of the home; 3 sons, Dustin Doughty of Cedar Lake, OK; Josh and his wife Kimberly Wren of Edmond, OK; and Jeremy and his wife Heather Wren of Midwest City, OK; 2 daughters, Angela Prince and her husband William of Norman, OK; and Amanda and her husband Sam Caruso of Shawnee, OK; 7 grandchildren, Emily, Reese, Abigayle, Landon, Peyton, Penelope, and Lilly. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Paylor Family Funeral Care, 412 N. Air Depot, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
