Autumn Elaine Cline Langford peacefully passed away on February 19, 2026, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Above all else, Autumn was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and the heart of her family — the roles she cherished most deeply. She was the love of her husband Paul Jason Langford’s life, and together they built a home filled with laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion to one another.
Autumn married Paul on November 23, 2012, and their greatest joy came with the arrival of their two beautiful children, Liam Paul, age 12, and Lilyana Autumn, age 10. Being a mother was Autumn’s greatest accomplishment and her proudest calling. She poured her whole heart into her family — cheering from the sidelines at soccer and baseball games, sitting proudly through music and dance recitals, and creating a home where her children always felt safe, loved, and endlessly supported. To her husband and children, she was their greatest champion, their steady source of strength, and their truest example of unconditional love.
Autumn was born on December 2, 1983, to S. Douglas and Vivian R. Cline. She was raised in Draper, Utah, as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints alongside her four older siblings: Talmadge Gold, Walter Andrus, Burgess Clay, and Audrey Sophia. From an early age, she demonstrated remarkable focus and intelligence. She graduated high school with both her diploma and an associate degree, earning an academic scholarship.
Professionally, Autumn was a dedicated and accomplished businesswoman who most recently served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in Salt Lake City, Utah. She advanced rapidly through the corporate world, earning the respect of colleagues through her work ethic, integrity, and brilliance. Yet despite her professional success, Autumn’s truest fulfillment was always found at home with her family, where she invested her time, energy, and love most intentionally.
Autumn had an extraordinary ability to love others deeply and without reservation. She welcomed people from every walk of life with genuine charity, thoughtfulness, and compassion. Many who came to know her felt seen and valued in a way that was uniquely hers. Autumn loved others in a Christ-like manner, looking beyond differences and choosing kindness first, and her quiet acts of service touched far more lives than she ever realized.
Autumn will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy lives on in her husband, her children, and in the countless lives she uplifted through her strength, compassion, and enduring love.
Funeral services will be held on March 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center — 3080 S. Kenwood St., Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
