Lovingly cared for at home by his wife, Lois, his children: Judith Markson, Sarina Furer and David Spiegel. Bert died at age 88 on March 31, 2017. Role model and mentor. His patience and insight continues to inspire us to live life fully, as he always did. Bert’s 7 grandchildren reveled in his wit and his keen interest in their lives. Marriage Encounter, Servas, and his Neshama groups were life-changing forces. Our gratitude to Dr. Fred Gottlieb and CNS Hospice for guidance and care.
