

Beverly Ann Rose Jolley Wollschleger, 84, much beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away Friday April 25, 2014 of causes incident to age. She spent her life teaching young minds to love music and was responsible for introducing piano music into thousands of homes. She taught generations of families, giving them a love and the joy of music. She was born June 26, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Orien Ellis and Cora Jean Allen Rose, and was raised in the Sugarhouse area with her younger brother Robert (Bob) Rose. She had the gift of friendship and was blessed with a myriad of lifelong friends. She was married to D. Richard Jolley, later divorced and married her sweetheart Paul L. Wollschleger on December 2, 1986 in the Salt Lake Temple.Beverly particularly loved, and was loved, by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was an anchor in all of our lives. She was involved over 70 years in music in teaching, accompanying the Scandia Male Chorus and other groups, roadshows, working with male quartets for years, and passing onto thousands of students, friends, and acquaintances her love of music which will live forever through them. She graduated from the University of Utah in education and taught three years at Hawthorne Elementary in Salt Lake City, and substitute taught for many years, but her love was teaching piano and having recitals. Her love for her students was only matched by their love for her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her sweetheart Paul. She is survived by her sister-in-law Cheri Rose of Salt Lake City, her children Kristine (Dean) Murdock of Eagle Mountain, Susan Ince of Salt Lake City, Steven (July) Jolley of Alpine, Douglas (Denise) Wollschleger, Joseph Wollshleger, Paula Springer, all of Salt Lake City, Peter (Dani) Wollschleger of North Ogden, her grandchildren Natalie (Travis) Smith, Heidi (Josh) Haslem, Michael Murdock, Cassie (Ian) LeCheminant, Zachary Murdock, Tyler Ince, Corby (Crystal) Ince, Andrew Ince, Adam (Madison) Ince, Allison Ince, Jade (Chris) Gottfredson, Sara Jolley, Payden Jolley, Paul Jolley, Steven (Jessica) Wollschleger, Kevin Wollschleger, Heather (Trent) Jensen, Corinne (Tyler) Homer, Lindsey (Blake) Burton, Whitney (Ty) Lewis, Benjamin Wollschleger, Andrea Gillespie, Carly Gillespie, Derek Wollschleger, Erin Wollschleger, and 25 great-grandchildren. We all love and miss her dearly, and look forward to an eternal reunion.We wish to extend a special thanks to Dr. Grant Hawkins, Eclipse Home Care, and her hospice care through Home Health of Utah. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday May 2, 2014 in the Cottonwood 12th Ward, located at 1750 E Spring Ln in Holladay, with a viewing from 10:30 am to noon prior to the service.
