Beverly Mae Young

Beverly Mae Young, age 90, passed away on June 26, 2014 at home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She was born on February 18, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Walter and Lottie Mae Burris. She attended and graduated from Cyprus High School. She married Douglas Keith Young on April 23, 1955 in Salt Lake City and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Children: Son, Stephen (Lynn) Young; Daughter, Michelle (Jared) Behunin. Grandchildren: Carson Young, Hildy Young, Jarrad Barber, Stephanie Lopez, Laura Barber. Great-grandchildren: Desirae May Barber, Brooklyn Ann Barber, Ryder Cruz Lopez, Rayden Vega Lopez, Libbie Jo Young, Lexie Lynn Young.

Our dearest Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother will be dearly missed. She truly made our lives worth living. She loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and kept a sharp mind throughout her life. The highlight of her week was getting her hair done and going to lunch. She was truly an amazing woman and was loved by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 1:00-1:45 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
