

He was born on July 27, 1942 in Salt Lake City , Utah to Bill E. Mellenthin and Mary Virginia (Boden) Mellenthin.
Bill was blessed with a beautiful head of curly hair, and named Tuffy after those golden locks. As he grew older his Nickname turned from Tuffy to Tut.
Bill loved Football, Basketball and Baseball among other sports and was a great athlete. He was the starting Halfback that helped lead the Highland Rams to their first State Championship in Football in 1959. He graduated from Highland High in 1960.
Bill was an Ironworker by trade and worked long and hard hours for many years. He travelled out of state often as part of the demand and work life of an Ironworker.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and his daughters Lisa Mellenthin Randles(John) and Leslie Mellenthin Yeates (Darrell) as well as his loving pets and companions Snoopy and Ashley dog.
He is survived by his children Matthew Jason Mellenthin (Clair) Troy Irish, Kimberly Irish Watts and Natalie Irish
grandchildren Matthew David Mellenthin,Marissa Joy Mellenthin, Mary Samantha Mellenthin, Sierra Randles Sabo (Daniel), Kevin Randles, Keaton Yeates, Jordan Yeates and McKenna Yeates.
great grandchildren Audric Sabo and Tristan Sabo among other loving cousins, friends and relatives

Graveside and Memorial services will be held in March for friends and family On Monday March 13th at 11:30 am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary at 3401 S Highland Dr, Millcreek, UT 84106
