Brent E Tomsic

Brent Emil Tomsic passed away May 15, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones. After courageously fighting with all his might, Brent was taken by esophageal cancer. He was born to Emil John Tomsic and Juanita Helen Jowell Tomsic on June 2, 1958. He graduated from Skyline High School in 1976; then with his entrepreneurial spirit, took over the family business continuing his father's legacy, Tomsic & Sons. He married Shari Melville on September 23, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. They together were the proud parents of Scott Brent Tomsic (Amy), Sidni Sue Tomsic (Shane) Johnson, and Tyler Melville Tomsic. Shari and Brent later divorced. He devoted his whole heart and soul into the family business. Brent loved his family and he will be greatly missed. Brent leaves behind his mother; twin brother, Brad, brother, Brian (Shelley); sister, Kimiel; his three children; and four grandchildren, Samantha, Millie, Alton and Walden; nephew, Jordan (Stephanie) Tomsic; and a very special dear friend, Vee Coppa. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Cottonwood 11th Ward, 1830 E. 6400 S., Murray, Utah, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City, Utah 84106.
