Cal arrived on this earth with a bang by way of a Caesarean birth. He quickly developed into what his family and anyone whose path he crossed would call the “cutest baby in the world.” Strangers would stop his mother to tell her how adorable he was. His big blue eyes and precious smile lit up any room.
Cal was adored by his older brothers, Bowie and Sam, who would easily baby talk with him for hours just to keep him happy and entertained.
In his short life, Cal brought smiles, happiness, and a feeling of contentment to the Hancock family. Though he wasn’t with us for long, he made a major impact on many lives. During his hospitalization, so many people rooted for Cal that it’s impossible to count. He had an army of people praying for and keeping him close to their hearts, who will forever continue to do so.
Cal is survived by his mother, Carly, his father Jesse, and his older brothers, Bowie and Sam. He is also deeply loved by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins, all who hold special memories with Cal.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM at 2180 Meadowlark Way, Sandy, UT 84093.
