Carol M Mattonen

Carol was the daughter of Vera and Joseph Magleby who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her three brothers, Thad, Gail and Bud Magleby.

Carol was a sage in advice, quiet in service and dedicated to her beloved family and her many “forever friends”.

She worked for many years at Sears Service Center where she was blessed with many co-workers who became life-long friends well into their retirement. In addition to her love of the written word, Carol, her husband and children spent many summers traveling across the entire United States, amassing many souvenirs and wonderful memories.

Carol is survived by her loving husband Don of 61 years, their two sons, Brian and Brad and his wife Karen and their family. Her two precious granddaughters Mindy and Teresa, her niece and nephew, her cousin and numerous great grandchildren.

Many thanks are given to her family, many neighbors, and friends who lovingly came to share their concerns and friendship. A special thank you to Don’s cousin Doug and his wife. They gave the gift of love through his timely photos.
