Celeste (Barker)(Erickson x 2) Fox passed away on January 15th 2018 on her own terms. She enjoyed archery, painting pastels, and all things crafty; a talented musician that could not count. Her friends were, and are all funky and groovy, she loved them all. Although she was not too independent, her friends always held her up.
Celeste (Cealski) has always been that crazy friend, the “fun” mom and unique person that you knew could not be copied or duplicated. It’s even hard to describe her to others that have not had the privilege/opportunity to meet her. She kept you on your toes and opened perspectives you didn’t know existed in her personal, professional and extra-curricular lives.
She is survived by her brother, Mario, daughters Candice (Jaime) and Lydia (Charlie), her adorable grandsons, Nolan and Brooks, her ever steady and loving boyfriend Randy; not to forget Tigger the enigmatic fish. She is joined in death by the love of her life, Scott aka “Verl”, her parents, “Dar” and “Jane”, her brother V Todd and her grandparents.
She was very proud of her daughters and thrived on the Customs House Broker culture not only here in SLC but in the Western US. The connections she made bled into her daily motivations and zest for life. So many relationships held her up, despite the most ardent reasons to leave and give up. She was a strong, strong lady that few will forget. Thank you to those that filled her with motivation and hope to go on and be better. A piece of her will be with you, as a piece of you is with her.
While her heart was broken many times, it is not because it was weak. The complications of heart failure are not a surprise to many; she lived and loved HARD!
No "in lieu of flowers" stuff here. She loved flowers, buy a bunch, bring them to the service and then re-gift to the people you love; flowers are for the living, then keep giving to the living.
Celeste and family wanted to recognize the heartfelt efforts of the hospice care workers at CNS, most notably, Yvonne.
A service for Celeste will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive. To share a memory of Celeste or to offer condolences to the family please visit: www.wasatchlawn.com
