

Born on December 22, 1945, in Birmingham, Alabama, Chester was known for his love of adventure, humor, and big personality. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy before attending Ricks College and Weber State University, where he earned his degree. He spent his career at Utah Power & Light, where he worked until his retirement.
Chester had a deep love for boating, skiing, and watching his favorite teams, BYU and the Miami Dolphins. He had a great appreciation for music and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was loud, funny, and full of life even though sometimes a handful.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dominique, whom he adored. He will be laid to rest beside Dominique. Chester was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his faith was an important part of his life.
He is survived by his daughters, Sabrina and her husband Joaquin Jordi, and Caroline and her husband Pat Erickson. He also leaves behind his brothers, Dave and his wife Ellen Sinquefield, Chris and his wife Carolyn Sinquefield, Duane and his wife Rhonda Sinquefield, and Chad Sinquefield. His grandchildren, Marco Marquez, Michael Jordi, Christian Jordi , Charlotte Eastman, and his great-granddaughter, Xaria Jordi, will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held on March 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Wasatch Lawn Memorial 3401 S. Highland Dr. Millcreek, Utah. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home in his honor.
Chester will be deeply missed, but his laughter, warmth, and larger-than-life spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
