Donna M Olsen

Salt Lake City, Utah. Donna Mae Olsen, 82, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2014. She married the love of her life, Donald Martin Olsen, on December 29, 1951. Donna was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah with her family in the late 1960’s. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and family was the main focus in her life. She enjoyed tending her beautiful gardens, and worked for JC Penney’s at the Cottonwood Mall in Holladay, Utah for most of the 1980’s. She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Parish for 45 years, and a member of “The 49er’s Club” at St. Ambrose Parish. Donna will be missed by all who loved her.

Survived by her husband of 62 years, daughters, Diane Davis, Darlene Eitapence, Patty Nelson and Jody Henderson, her nine grandchildren, Wayne, Shaun, Maryn, Matt, Nicholas, Scott, Andrea, Erick and Aaron, and one great-granddaughter, Chance. She is survived by her two sisters, Lorraine Locke and Mildred Tobritzhofer of St. Paul, Minnesota, predeceased by her brothers, Ed, Bob and George.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane, Salt Lake City, Utah 84117 with a luncheon to follow at the Parish Benvegnu Center located directly North of the Church.
