We are saddened to share the loss of our beautiful, witty, funny, smart, talented sweet boy Draydon Michal Webb. There is a hole in our hearts, and we will miss him every minute, of every day. Draydon enjoyed legends boxing, working out, taking evening walks with his dogs and laughing over shared stories of that day with his mom. His interest in music was a little of everything, from eclectic to the classics and rock. Dungeons and Dragons was a long-time hobby Draydon enjoyed playing with his brother from another mother, Kohel. The three amigos, Paiton, Draydon and Ryan spent their summers together having backyard sleep outs, swimming in the summer sun and playing Pokémon Go in the evenings. Draydon enjoyed starting his first job this summer at “Fish 4 U” where his boss praised his work ethic. He joked with us about “graveyard day” at work where they cleaned out all the dead fish from the tanks.
Draydon, Mom will miss your gorgeous hair. Mischievous nature and love of pushing buttons with a wink and a smile on your face. Our morning car rides laughing on our way to school and doing our spa facials at home.
Draydon who was the love of his life, will be missed by his father, David Webb. They enjoyed walks together, getting into mischief and going on adventures. Their most precious memories were spent at the Webb family cabin where they both found peace in nature.
Draydon attended Emerson Elementary School, K-4th.
Salt Lake Arts Academy 5th- 8th Became a second home where the educators were full of compassion and taught Draydon love and humanity through their teaching and actions.
As a family we were proud of Draydon for wanting to attend and getting into Ames Academy his 9th grade year. Draydon was a caring and giving person; he continued that in death through the gift of eye, bone and tissue donation.
Draydon is survived by his parents, Jessica Vanroosendaal and Levi Backman. Grandparents, Michal and Susan Vanroosendaal. Uncle Casey Vanroosendaal (Amy Lash) and Cousin Kellen. Grandparents, Jeff and Diane Backman. Uncle Zachary (Talitha) Backman, cousins Ryan, Maddie and Wyatt. Aunt Callee (Justin) Prokopis, and cousins Paiton, Raelee and Zayden.

Aunt Kelly (Tim) Smith and cousins, Kimberlyn, Kelsie, Hayden, Jillian, Benji, Savannah, TJ, Jacob and Sydney. Uncle Chris (Amy) Webb and cousins, Rylie, James and Taylor. Aunt Lindy (Brett) Prusso and cousins, Gus, Grace, William, Quinn and Lucy. Uncle Marc (Becky) Webb and cousins, Joseph, Heather and Emma.
Preceded in death by Grandpa James Webb and Uncle Joe Massey.
A celebration of life for Draydon will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00a.m. at Winder 7th Ward 4350 South 1100 East Salt Lake City, UT 84124
