

Eddy Domingo Amparo, passed away at the age of 78 on March 1, 2018. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He was a beloved father and grandfather. He was born on January 10, 1940 in San Francisco De Macoris, Dominican Republic and is the son of Domingo Amparo and Rosalia De Palesmo Taveras Hernandez. As a young man, he worked as an automobile technician and later became an entrepreneur and business owner. He was passionate about nature, cooking, and painting. He was full of life and touched everyone he met. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many capacities including helping establish the gospel in the Dominican Republic. He loved the gospel and testified of it until his last breath. Eddy is preceded by his parents, his sister Eunice, and his granddaughter, Yvette Mercedes. He is survived by his sons, Eddie Jr. and Edisson; daughters, Elizabeth, Yvette, Helen, and Leslyvett.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March, 8 2018 at 12:00 pm at the LDS chapel (Copper Hills 17th Ward) located at 5394 W. 9000 S., West Jordan, Utah.
A viewing will be held on Thursday morning 10:00-12:00 am at the church prior to services. Interment in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 S. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City).
