Frank "Bud" Edward Curl Jr.

Frank E. Curl Junior, also known as Bud, was born on the ninth of September 1950. Bud, along with his older sister Janice and three younger brothers, Virgil Stanphill, David Curl, and Bruce Curl, was raised in the New England states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Before completing high school, Bud enlisted in the Navy and became a radio man. He married Barbara Reigns and had three children, Edward Curl, Tim Curl, and Andrea Curl. Following his divorce in 1974, Bud married Patricia Webb in 1975, and they had a son, James Curl, in 1978. In April 1980, Bud and Patty were baptized into the 7th Day Adventist Church. Most of their lives were spent in Lincoln, Nebraska, with a brief period in Holyoke, Colorado. Upon retirement on January 20, 2016, Bud dedicated much of his time to writing and sharing messages of hope centered around his love for Jesus on various Facebook group sites.

In March 2020, Bud and Patty sold their home and embarked on a permanent tour of the western states, eventually settling in Kingman, Arizona, where they found a loving Church Family. In 2022, Bud was diagnosed with prostate cancer, which went into remission but returned with a vengeance in 2025, ultimately claiming his life on July 19, 2025. He is survived by his children, wife, stepbrothers and sister, numerous loving family members, and dear friends.
