Jeanenne was born January 13, 1931, in Lava Hot Springs Idaho. She was the eldest of seven siblings she loved dearly. Every Saturday you would find her shopping with her Mamma and sisters. The “Baxter Babes” shared many laughs and such a close bond that Jeanenne treasured.
At the age of 12 she moved to Salt Lake City. She attended Granite High School where she was a cheerleader and formed lifelong friendships. She then pursued her education at Henager’s School of Business.
It was at Evergreen Confectionary where she worked that Jeanenne met the love of her life, Don. They married in 1950 and were blessed with six children. Her kindness, care and unwavering support were a testament to her character. She set a perfect example by always prioritizing her children and husband, ensuring we all felt cherished and loved.
Her dedication extended to her church community where she served as Primary Chorister for 14 years. The companionship and care she received there meant a great deal to her.
Jeanenne had an enthusiasm for life, played the piano beautifully, was a long-time member of the Cheery Notes singing group and loved a good marching band.
In honor of her memory, a private family service and celebration of her life will be held. She was aware of the love, concern and thoughtful notes from her community during her last days and we express our gratitude for your kindness.
In place of flowers, we ask that you consider donating to Primary Children’s Hospital.
