Janalee Jensen was born in Salt Lake City the youngest daughter of Arlo C. Jensen and Hannah Bernice Hughes Jensen. She passed away peacefully in her home on the Tuesday before Christmas.
Jan married Richard Harding, later divorced.
She was blessed with three sons, Brandon Harding (Jennifer), Weston Harding (Bambi) and Keaton Harding. She is survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two older sisters, Kay Asbury of Casper, Wyoming and Shari J. Dutson (Quayle) of Alpine.
Jan attended Granite High School, completed her schooling and became a Registered Nurse, which was her lifelong occupation. In addition to working in hospitals, she was also a traveling nurse, office nurse and nursing instructor. She loved her work and often talked about the opportunity it gave her to serve those in need. It was in that profession, however, she received a serious back injury, which caused her much pain and suffering throughout her later life.
Jan had a loving heart and could never see wrong in other people. Funeral Services will be held January 11th at noon at the LDS Pampa Ward Building located at 10885 S. Pampas Drive, Sandy, Utah 84094. A viewing will be held at 11 am prior to the service. Close family and friends are invited to attend. Janalee will be interred at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park located at 3401 Highland Drive, S.L.C., Utah, 84106 following service. The dedication of the grave will then take place.
