Jean and Glen along with their children built a cabin that was large enough for all of their family at the time. It was east of Oakley, Utah. After that Jean and Glen with their son, Steve Palmer built their home in Summit Park where they lived until they got tired of the hard winters and shoveling snow. They sold their Summit Park home and moved to a simpler life in condominiums and apartments.
Jean and Glen retired and moved to Las Vegas where she used her talents to create arts and crafts. They lived at a Del Webb development where Glen played golf and Jean worked on her ceramics. She got bored of ceramics and decided to learn the art of creating stained glass windows. Her work is beautiful and is displayed in the houses of her children and grandchildren.
Jean and Glen had the perfect retirement. They traveled almost everywhere staying in time share condominiums and on cruise ships. They had a wonderful life and raised a great family. She will be missed.
Jean will be buried next to her husband, Glen, at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery
