During WWII Jean worked at Fort Douglas, where she was crowned Transportation Queen. After her children were grown she worked at Continental Bank in the Mastercard division until she retired. Jean was an amazing piano player, a fantastic cook, and a master at making fudge. Her daughters are still trying to perfect her recipe.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, her daughter Karen, and brother Andrew. Jean is survived by her daughters Margo Laub, Jan Tye, and Cindy Jo (Cort) Robinson. Her sister Peggy Wallace and 17 grandchildren.
A special thank you to her hospice nurse, Stephanie and her amazing caregivers, Tui and Silia, who were with her 24 hours a day.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7th at 11am with a viewing one hour prior at Wasatch Lawn; 3401 So. Highland Dr.
