Dear Peppinger Family,  We were so sad to hear about the passing of John.  We both knew and worked with John for many years, and although retirement took us in different directions, he remains in our hearts as a true friend.  He had a smile that could light up a room when he walked in. John was one of Pat's supervisors in accounting. He was patient, kind, fun, and allowed her to learn and grow as an employee.  What a gentleman John was, who talked openly about how much he loved his family. We were blessed to work with him and call him our friend. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days as you carry on with your daily activities. Peppinger Family - how we will miss that bright, shining smile on our wonderful neighbor's face.   John was the kind of neighbor you dream about having when you buy a home and move into a neighborhood.  He and Bonnie were the first people we met when we moved  to Cumberland Road and they have been exemplary people for all the years we have known them.   He and Bonnie always shared the joy they had in their family along with a positive attitude.for life.  Our family always considered them as bonus grandpa and grandma. I retired from Questar in 1998 but remember John well.

Jay, Janeene, and family-We are going to miss your dad's smiling face and kind words. We will always have happy memories of your dad. Our thoughts are with you during this hard time.

Ray and I were very sorry to hear of John's passing. I have many wonderful memories of John and our long association at Questar.  He will always be one of my favorite "dads".

I is very upsetting to learn of your family's loss.  Of coarse, I did not know your father but can say from the available history of him that he was a great hero to many!  I am sure a huge loss for you and your loved ones.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

John Peppinger is like an adopted Grampa. I can not think of a time where I was not greeted with a warm smile and a strong handshake. There are few instances in my life when I have thought that I have found a life-time friend. The first time I met John and Bonnie, it was like he had known me all of my life. He went out of his way to cheer up my day and every conversation ended with him telling me to "say hello to your beautiful wife". I will truely and deeply miss John and my sympathies and condolences go out to Bonnie and the rest of the Peppinger Family.

Dear Family,
John has remained one of my most  favorite people in the world since working for him back in the 70's and 80's.  I have loved seeing him at Questarians, where he is so popular that I rarely got to sit with him and Bonnie and Fred.  I love John dearly and will greatly miss him.

We were so sad to hear about his passing.  Christmas Eve just isn't going to be the same without him.  He is such a sweet and special person that we will all miss.  You are all in our prayers.  Please let us know if we can help with anything to help you.

I AM SO SADDENED TO READ OF JOHN'S PASSING.  He was my inspiration, my confidant, and one of my first friends when I began working at Questar.  His wings hovered over me assuring that I would be just fine.  I'll never forget his kind words, his gentle nature, and his absolutely wonderful smile. It was MY honor to have known and worked with him.  Mick and Jay always know that your father was loved by many and beyond words.
