Katherine was born August 28, 1960 and passed away at her home in Holladay, Utah on September 18, 2017. Katherine truly lived. As a young woman, she rarely let a good time pass her by. She loved spending time with her friends and family, and kept us laughing with her incredible wit and dry sense of humor. She loved unconditionally, and was loved by everyone she met. She was compassionate, understanding, forgiving, and always advocated for the underdog. Kathy was extremely selfless and went out of her way to take care of all she knew. She faced challenges with humility and a positive attitude. We will miss her thoughtful and encouraging phone calls and messages. Katherine had an artful eye, and had a passion for gardening and landscaping. She could make anything grow, and created beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements. Kathy is survived by her husband, Garth; mother, Janice Slusser; siblings, Kim Slusser, Mark Slusser (Sherrie); Rosemary Steed (Dennis); John Slusser (Keri); and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Slusser, who she cared for tirelessly prior to his passing.
