Murray, UT-Linda Sanfelippo, 79, died unexpectedly on January 31 at IMC Murray surrounded by her daughters. She was born Sept 26, 1943 in Santa Monica, CA, to Donald L and Hazel (Swaner) Hardman. She married Cid Sanfelippo Sept 15, 1966.
Linda graduated from Olympus High in 1961, attended the U of U before graduating from cosmetology school. Her work history includes many years at ZCMI Salon, Job Service, Eastern/Continental Airlines, Granato's Deli and finally in the office at Vosen's Bakery before retiring in 2020.
Her favorite place on earth was Disneyland. She also loved travelling and spending time in Mexico with family. Despite not wanting to go at first, she loved Hawaii and going on cruises.
After the passing of her mom she inherited her parents '66 Ford T-bird, restored it and enjoyed taking it to car shows and was proud of the many awards it won. She loved to cruise around in her '88 Corvette with its MammaMia license plate.
Linda, a talented chef and baker, loved sharing her culinary talents with family and friends. She loved to paint ceramics and won many ribbons at county and state fairs for her crafts and canned goods. She was so excited when her canned pickles won a rosette!
Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved making treats and watching Christmas movies. She was never happier than when spending time with her beloved daughters. From game nights, watching Dancing with the Stars to the annual girls trip to Disneyland for Christmas, Linda was happiest when with her girls and her dogs. She was a lifetime animal lover who was devoted to her puppies.
Linda loved music and went to many concerts. She was a big fan of crime dramas, mafia movies, and old comedies. She loved jewelry and all things sparkly, a trait she passed on to her daughters, who loved spending time shopping with her.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sweet baby son, Chris. She is survived by her husband and her daughters Lori Sanfelippo and Jamie (Dave) Mansfield and her dogs and granddogs.
Visitation: Saturday, February 11th from 12-2:30 followed by a private graveside service conducted by Brother Earl Dallon with remarks from family.
