Lynn Kothe Oliver

Lynn Oliver passed away peacefully surrounded by her family May 8, 2015 in Gilbert, AZ. Lynn was born June 10, 1943 at Franklin Hospital at 7:00 P.M. weighing in at 8 Lbs in San Francisco, CA. to Jess and Leona Kothe. Lynn raised her children in Salt Lake City, UT and had a successful career as a supervisor in sales and operations at Qwest Communications. She also was a second mom to many due to her loving and accepting nature. She was fortunate to retire early after 38 years and move to Arizona where she could be closer to friends and family. She enjoyed traveling with her family, gardening, sewing, and was a perfectionist in creating unique Halloween costumes both for herself and her grandchildren. She loved watching her grandchildren grow. She was also very proud to become “Nana” to her two great grandchildren. She served on several social committees within her community in Arizona and loved traveling with them as well. Lynn is preceded in death by: Jess Kothe (Father), Leona Parkin (Mother) Carol Barbitta (Sister).Lynn is survived by her children: Michael D Oliver, Machell D (Mike) Aldrich, Grand children: Ashley (Troy) Ballensky, Bryce (Kelbee) Marsh, Courtney Marsh, Sydney Oliver, Jordan Oliver, Great Grand Children: Hallie & Emilie Ballensky. Memorial Services will be held Friday May, 15 2015 at 2:00 PM. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to services at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Garden of the Lillie's Mausoleum, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
