Marilyn Chatelain

She was born November 10, 1933 in Denver, Colorado to Willis Alfred Miller and Elsie Alice Stotts. She married Gerald W. Chatelain on July 27, 1953 in the Logan LDS Temple.

She was an Active member of the LDS Church serving in various church positions. She longed to be with her eternal sweetheart these past 17 years and so we lovingly bid farewell to our mother knowing she is happy and knowing she is where she has so longed to be. She was a great wife, mother, sister, daughter, nanny, and friend. She would do anything for anyone and always wanted everyone to be happy. She enjoyed camping, traveling with our father, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Phillip (Linda), Jerry (Melanie), and Johanna (Dennis) Newmeyer; brother, David Miller (Sue); 23 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister, husband, Gerald W. Chatelain, and son, Gregory.

Services will be held on March 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive. Friends may call on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services
