Maryann Nelson, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 17th, 2022, in her home in West Jordan, Utah. She was born in Helper, Utah on October 3rd, 1938, to Ann and John Spensko. Maryann graduated from Carbon high school in 1957.
Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was full of life, love, and absolute kindness. She was educated in the medical and dental fields and spent 40 amazing years playing an integral part in running the dental offices she worked for. Maryann is known for her impressive cooking and baking skills and most importantly, her mouth-watering banana bread. All that knew her felt her nurturing and warmhearted soul, but they also never left hungry. She was an unforgettable giver and has touched so many lives.
She leaves two daughters Tami Searing and Laurie (Matt) Murray, along with two stepchildren Laney (Debbie) Nelson and Randy (Kristie) Nelson. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Lauryl, Heather, Jessica, Taylor, Jordan, and Connor, along with her beloved great-grandchildren Breanna, Wyatt, Aydin, Layla, and Zander.
Maryann is preceded in death by loving husbands William “Charlie” Nelson and Robert “Bob” Morgan, along with her dear grandson, Jared William Bird.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on June 27th, 2022, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.
