

Michelle Marie Templin-Polasek born August 6th, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio went to her heavenly home unexpectedly due to heart failure on September 1, 2013. She was dearly loved as a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She graduated from University of Dayton in Ohio, moved to Utah in 1999 and married Jerry Polasek September 2008 in Alta, Utah.
She loved working for Volunteers of America, Utah as the Director of Community Engagement. Michelle gained peace and inner strength helping people and was a generous, dedicated woman who loved to give of herself to many people in need. Michelle also volunteered at different organizations in Salt Lake City, taking her across the country.
Michelle is survived by her husband Jerry Polasek and her stepchildren Karina Nowles, John Polasek. Parents Ron and Ruthann Templin, siblings Ronnie Templin Jr., Chris and Virginia Templin, Kevin and Britt Templin, Uncle Peter Rowe of Salt Lake City, Aunt Martha Rowe Gentile, John Rowe, Lawrence Templin and Dennis Templin of Cleveland, OH. Uncle Rev. Kenneth Templin S.M. of Honolulu, HI. She was an awesome aunt to nephews Emmett and Porter, nieces Roxie, Haile and great niece Mia Gentile; all whom she loved as if they were her own.
Michelle's passing has left a void in many hearts and souls. She was a wonderful woman that gave of herself with her whole being. She has now left her Earthly vessel to rest and be with God. "To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord; the dust returns to Earth, the spirit returns to God who gave it" (2 Cor 5;8, Ecci 12;17)
Visitation will be held Sept. 5 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial, 3401 Highland Dr. 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass and celebration of her life will be held Sept. 6 at St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center,170 University St., at 10 a.m.
