Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle passed away March 21, 2012 peacefully at home. Born to James Rhodes and Mary Speropoulos in Chicago, Illinois, he served in the US Navy during World War II as a gunnery airman. He moved to Utah to attend the University of Utah where he graduated. He earned his status as Certified Public Accountant. He married Lula Katris Rhodes August 15, 1948 in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Salt Lake City, Utah. They celebrated their fifty-eighth wedding anniversary two days prior to Lula's passing away, and he ached with her loss until now, as their reunion begins. Their devotion and commitment to each other was legendary and unsurpassed. Nick was a prominent businessman and vigorous leader. His ethical and unwavering direction guided many through problems and peril, and he celebrated joyous occasions and holidays with vitality and humor. His glorious hospitality and generosity will always be remembered. His love of nature included developing a beautiful yard and roaming mountains to find adventure, and his love of movies, theater, books, art, and technology led him even further. He and Lu were a stylish couple who enjoyed traveling immensely. Nick's love of the Greek community was coupled with his love of family to form the center of his life. Nick never grew old.
