Orlando B. Smith was 42 years old; he passed away on January 14, 2024, in Salt Lake City. His birthday was on June 14,1981 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was born to his mother Herma Smith. Orlando attended Fort Wingate Elementary School and graduated from Fort Wingate High School. Orlando was a basketball player for Wingate High School. He was an Electrician and a “Jack of all Trades”. Orlando was a mechanic that liked working on cars & trucks. He also worked in construction and was a builder. He loved to cook, read, and listen to music. Orlando went on to have seven children: William Smith, Wes Smith, Aiden Smith, Hunter Begay, Kai Smith, Sky Smith, and daughter Mya Smith. Orlando was predeceased by Maternal Grandfather Henry B. Smith, Maternal Grandmother Marlene Smith, and Uncle Richard B. Smith. He is survived by his mother Herma Smith, brothers Orando Smith and Herschel Johnson, and sisters Orlandra Smith and Jaylynn Johnson. Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary on January 26, 2024, at 10:00 am.
