He married Elise Anne Boas on September 11, 1993 and they enjoyed their lives together in Salt Lake City, Bear Lake and Saint George.
Paul never met a stranger and was beloved by his wife of 22 years, brothers, sister, in-laws, nieces and nephews and always proud to share their accomplishments with others. He was easy to talk to, possessed a clever wit and had many longtime friends who loved him dearly.
When a friend calls to me from the road
And slows his horse to a meaning walk,
I don’t stand still and look around
On all the hills I haven’t hoed,
And shout from where I am. What is it?
No, not as there is a time to talk.
I thrust my hoe in the mellow ground
Blade-end up and five feet tall,
And plod: I go up to the stone wall
For a friendly visit.
– Robert Frost
