So sorry to hear about Matt.  I worked with him at the college.  I enjoyed working with him.  He would always give me a hard time but I knew he was joking with me.  He will truly be missed by all.  It’s always hard to say good bye.  May the Lord bless the family.  Thanks for the memories Matt. 

Matt was very vocal with his non-verbal communication.  He would often come right up to my desk and stand there letting me know that he needed to vent about a computer problem that he was experiencing.  He would also nod hellos and goodbyes to me when I greeted him.  One of my fondest memories of non-verbal communication was when it was time to go for the day.  I was wrapping up getting ready to leave, and Matt walks by, I said bye, and Matt does a head motion telling me to hurry up and come on.  I said “Coming, coming!”, and Matt smiles at this.
Matt was also very knowledgeable about random facts which went well with our group.  I also remember him talking about his younger years, “Far Cry” games, and so much more.  Our team did not have to pay attention to the time with him around.  Matt was very punctual on when he would go get Lunch at Left Fork Grill, or when he left for the day to get dinner at Left Fork Grill as well.  When Matt came in every morning, he would always bring in pops either Pepsi Zero Sugar or Clear pops, which he usually brought in 2 pops with him in a day.
We at Desktop Support will miss having him on our team, and wish Matt’s family peace and comfort.

For many years I had the chance to talk and interact with Matt, he always showed respect and kindness, he was also a reliable professional. May his family find peace and treasure in their minds the good memories they shared with him.

I know what it's like to lose a loved one so suddenly, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked in Accounts Receivable, one the offices Matt would come to whenever we needed help with our computers, and he was always so patient with us, and the only times he didn't know how to fix a problem was because the computers seemed to fix themselves. He was very knowledgeable. I pray that his family and friends receive as much comfort as they need, and can one day feel at peace when thinking of Matt. 

Matt helped us with tech support for many years in the Office of the Bursar at Salt Lake Community College. He was so smart, towered over most people, and could figure out any tech issue. I'm shocked and saddened from the realization that he is gone. May all who knew him feel comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Matt will be greatly missed. I have many years of fond memories working with Matt at SLCC. He did so much to ensure that technology was working well in Student Affairs, including maintaining the computers in our Assistive Technology Lab for students with disabilities. He was great to work with, patiently helping to find a solution with his analytical mind, and then enthusiastically conversing about emerging technology or video games. You'd never be forgotten, rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear about Matt's passing. He was one of the nicest people to interact with at SLCC. He was always very helpful and kind. He will be missed. 

I am deeply saddened to hear of Matt's passing.  I always enjoyed working with him at SLCC tackling scanner issues or just shooting the breeze for  minute or too.   I wish we had visited longer and more often.  May you have peace and comfort at this time of sorrow.
