Loving, caring, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister Saumaoatoto Tuiletufuga Maumasi

78 died May 11, 2010, in SLC, UT. Born October 17, 1931 to Tuiletufuga Liu and Faiaga Mose in Apia, Samoa. She married Mareko Fuaole Fauaimaota Maumasi and on April 25, 1958 they were sealed as eternal Companioins in the New Zealand Temple Gordon B. Hinkley with Paul J. Buckley and J Howard Johnson as witnesses.

Survived by children: Mareko (Toshiko) Maumasi, III, Ekueta Vaetoefaga (Siala Faulsale) Maumasi, Raymond Maumasi (Sita), Warner Maumasi, (Feliuai), Emma Rae Pauni (Sione), Howard Maumasi (Faamoa), Meridian Taufui (Bishop Pepa Taufui), Toast Dawn Soutsavang (Khammay), Ernest Pat Maumasi, (Jessica) Ommer Adrienne Maumasi, (Olevia Maulitalo), Kenji Nangae Maumasi (Roxanne) Victor Leonard Maumasi (Nikki), Katie Taetuitui Carver Sisters (Jason), Ralph Roger Maumasi. She is preceded in death by her husband, children: Visser Plebecite Maumasi and Toast Ekueta Maumasi, 8 brothers & 7 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Springview Ward, 3153 South 900 East, SLC, UT. Family will receive friends Friday from 9:00-10:45 a.m.

Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
