She was born July, 26, 1934 in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Lars Christen Christensen (Chris) and Mary Isabelle Spencer. She attended school in Escalante. She married Kenneth Kendal Pratt(deceased) on October 26, 1951 in Provo, Utah. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 6, 1964.
Shiralee was the youngest of 12 children. She grew up in Escalante, Utah with 10 older brothers and 1 older sister. She was the baby and was very spoiled. Her dad, Chris, was a sheepherder and her mom grew a garden and worked hard to make ends meet with little money. She met Ken in Escalante when she was 17 years old she and her girlfriends had a bet who could get a date with Ken first. Ken was in town loading his truck with wood when Shiralee walked by. Ken whistled at the pretty girl walking by and the rest is history. She made everyone feel loved and welcomed in her home and in her family. She raised 12 kids on a pancake turner and a shoe. She was always singing. She could make a delicious meal out of nothing. She will be greatly missed by all. We love you – till we meet again.

49 grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Shiralee is survived by her sister-in-law Ardis Christensen and her nephew Sherrill Alvey who was raised alongside her.
Preceded in death by siblings: William, Loynel, Lars, Robert, Julia, Howard, Samuel, Louis, Rolin, Norman, Laurence.
A morning viewing for Shiralee will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Tooele 18th Ward, 1025 West Utah Avenue, Tooele, UT 84074. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 1025 West Utah Avenue, Tooele, UT 84074. An interment will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 at Grantsville City Cemetery, 336 W. Main Street, Grantsville, UT.
