Victor Bell Devenish

Victor Bell Devenish, age 69, passed away November 24, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 21, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to Victor and Norma Taylor Devenish. He graduated from East High School. He married Bonnie Aste August 24, 1961 in Farmington, Utah. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Victor retired from the Salt Lake City Police Department as a Sergeant after 20 years of service. He worked security at O. C. Tanner for 19 years. He coached Little League Baseball for many years, and was known as “Paucky” to his grandsons Andrew and Connor.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, children, Doug (Carol), Jim and Greg, sister, Pam Land, and two grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Denise.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1345 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Primary Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be made to www.wasatchlawn.com
