Walter Charles Simpson1951 ~ 2009Walter Charles “Chuck” Simpson. Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away on November 23, 2009 after having the courage to live many years with a debilitating disease.Born October 28, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marshall N. Simpson and Betty June Bredthauer. Married Vicki Lee Capener August 30, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada.He was a member of the LDS Church. Chuck earned his Eagle Scout at a young age which contributed to his love of the outdoors. He loved camping and hunting at Fishlake with family and friends. Chuck graduated from Granite High School and attended the University of Utah.He was employed at Hatchco Trucking Company, M&M Meat Co. and retired from US West Communications.Survived by his loving wife, children Jennifer and Jared, granddaughter, Alivia, siblings Marshall (Linda) Simpson, Kathy Kirkman, Fred (Jan) Bredthauer, Brad (Terry) Bredthauer and several nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brothers Robert Michael Simpson & Daniel Bredthauer.Our thanks to Sandy Regional and their caring staff & to Joe & Melissa from Hearts for Hospice for their love & care of Chuck. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 12 Noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr. A viewing for friends and family will be held 1 hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.You will forever be in our hearts.
