

She was born September 4,1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lucile Warr Taylor and Sherman M. Taylor. She graduated from Granite High School and was married in the Salt Lake Temple to her eternal companion and sweetheart, LaVar "Tony" Ray Neff on June 20, 1952. Together they raised three children, Susan, Gary and Kathy, who gave them 16 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Yvonne was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many different callings.
She was a self taught expert in food preparation winning many awards with her bread and roll baking skills. She had a love for painting, traveling all over the country teaching art classes. She finally swung over to Tony's passion for cars by prepping and detailing many of them and entering them in various car shows, winning many 1st place and Best of Show along the way.
She was plagued with physical and mental challenges her entire life but rose above them often to provide a beautiful life for her family.
She is survived by her daughter Susan (Paul) Wagner, son Gary (Cathy) Neff, Son in-law Paul (Kathy) Jolley, 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, sister Karen Bertola, and sister-in-law LaRae Taylor. Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brother Ron Taylor, Sister Becky Shutt, Sister Jeanene Goodman, Daughter Kathy Jolley, Grandson Daniel Neff and Great grandson Jace Jolley.
A viewing will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 6pm to 7pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. 3401 South Highland Drive, SLC; Funeral services will be held Friday, January, 9th at 1pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary with a viewing to be held from Noon to 12:45 prior to the funeral service.
